The Marine Tap Room was a bar located on the South Side of Chicago, around 59th and Halsted, which opened in 1934. My Great-Grandfather, Art Wadman, opened this pub just after Prohibition ended, and his family, including my Grandmother, lived above in the apartment. I thought this t-shirt would be a cool tribute to my family, as well as the History of Chicago, where we all grew up.
The T-shirt features the Marine Tap logo on the front, with the famous 'Positively No Dancing Allowed' sign on the back.
